Aquatechnik Celebrates 40th Birthday

In May, Aquatechnik proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone: 40 years of groundbreaking innovation within the HVAC industry.

Celebrating in Style

The anniversary was marked with a special Family Day at our Magnago headquarters. It was a day filled with smiles, games, delicious food, and moments shared among colleagues, friends, and loved ones. Guided tours of our production facilities gave families a closer look at the heart of our operations, while activities for both children and adults created lasting memories.

Family has always been central to Aquatechnik’s values, and this celebration was the perfect occasion to honour that tradition. As a family-run business, we remain deeply committed to strengthening bonds, both within our teams and with the communities we serve.

From Past to Present

Since our founding in the 1980s, our mission has been clear: to develop and produce innovative plastic pipework systems as sustainable alternatives to conventional metallic pipes.

By the turn of the millennium, we took a major step forward with the introduction of our patented Safety-Plus system, a unique connection technology between multilayer pipes and PPS fittings. Initially produced in brass and plastic (Safety-Metal) and later entirely in PPS, the system was enthusiastically received both nationally and internationally, establishing Aquatechnik as a leader and innovator in the field.

Today, our operations have grown significantly:

  • 6,000 tonnes of PP-R processed annually for pipe production
  • Over 20 million metres of multilayer pipe produced per year
  • Up to 80 million parts manufactured yearly in our injection moulding department

These achievements reflect not only our technical expertise but also our ongoing commitment to delivering reliable, innovative solutions to our customers worldwide.

Looking Ahead

As we look to the future, our vision remains unchanged yet forward-thinking: to further develop innovative new solutions for pipework systems in plastic materials as an alternative to conventional metallic pipes. By investing in research, technology, and people, we aim to meet the evolving needs of the HVAC industry while staying true to the values that have guided us for four decades.
