ISO 9001

The Company is organised and works in accordance with all the requirements of ISO 9001, in terms of product quality, services, company organization, assistance and provided training.

ISO 14001

The Company is organised and works in compliance with all the requirements of ISO 14001, in terms of procedures and rules to produce manufactured products, in full respect of the environment.

In addition, our Safety-Pol fittings possess several UK, European and International Product Certifications in accordance with ISO 21003 (Multilayer piping systems for hot and cold water installations inside buildings). They are WRAS-approved and Lloyd’s Registered in the UK and possess key European certifications from KIWA (Netherlands) and DVGW (Germany).

The certifications mentioned above require that the processes and raw materials used to manufacture our MLCP pipe and Safety-Pol fittings meet the requirements of each standard. Gaining certification doesn’t end there; the products are then subject to continuous monitoring by the inspectors of the respective certification bodies, which, in some cases, can come without notice during the production activity. This monitoring generally involves checking:

• Production stages
• Raw material supplies
• Laboratory testing of the products.
• The competence of the staff members responsible for the testing
• The adequacy and calibration status of all laboratory equipment

The inspectors conclude each audit by taking product samples from our warehousing to test and inspect at their laboratories. Aquatechnik holds over 25 different certifications, meaning that our processes are monitored at least once every two weeks throughout the year by a certification representative.

Other certifications not yet mentioned are CSTB (France), IIP (Italy), AENOR (Spain), WATERMARK (Australia), and both ASTM F 2389, and ASTM F 1281 (USA/Canada).
